Lineworkers build, maintain, and repair the overhead powerlines that supply electricity across WA. You'll work outdoors in a team, doing physical, hands‐on tasks like: Installing and maintaining powerlines Climbing poles or using elevated work platforms Replacing poles, conductors, and transformers Safely isolating and switching the network Assisting with power restoration after storms or faults About the Apprenticeship This 4-year program combines: On‐the‐job training alongside experienced Lineworkers Classroom‐based learning to develop technical skills By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll gain a nationally recognised trade qualification and be ready for a long‐term career in the energy industry. Who We're Looking For We're seeking motivated, safety‐focused individuals who enjoy active work and want to build a meaningful career. Have completed Year 11 (including passes in English and Maths) Hold a WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence Be 18+ by 9 February **** Communicate well and work in a team Show robust work ethic and commitment to safety Be open to rotating between different WA depots A Certificate III pre‐apprenticeship is a bonus, but not essential.
