About the Role: Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking Fixed Plant Boilermakers to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on our FIFO rostered maintenance crews enjoying a variety of 2/2, 8/6 or 2/1 rosters coming up. This is a FIFO role ex. Perth; interstate candidates are encouraged to apply (Must make own way to/from Perth). Key duties:
- Demonstrated fault-finding, repair and fabrication experience on Fixed Plant Mining equipment
- Performing maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, chutes, hoppers, screens, pumps, and structural components
- Welding, cutting, fabrication and structural repairs on fixed plant infrastructure
- Preventative maintenance & breakdown repairs
- Shutdown support and plant upgrades

- Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Welder (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
- Drivers Licence
- Construction White Card
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (essential)
- First Aid & CPR (desirable)
- Gas Test Atmospheres ticket (essential)
- Fire/Hot Work ticket (essential)
- Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry
- Strong MIG, TIG and Arc welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
- Motivated and hard working with a professional attitude
