Find out what a career at Primero can do for you. Your Opportunity Liaise, track and expedite goods and materials such vendor equipment, consumables, tooling deliveries to site. Location: Osborne Park, office will be moving into the CBD in 3Q Your Key Responsibilities
- Expedite vendor data from vendors
- Expedite vendor progress throughout fabrication
- Expedite delivery of goods
- Support Project Engineers in all expediting matters.
- Assist with Final release inspections.
- Liaise with freight providers and site logistics team in relation shipping matters.
- Manage/update master shipping register
- Support deliveries of oversized/overlength goods to site.
- Reporting of deliveries What You ‘Can Do’ Skills and qualifications that are essential to the role
- General knowledge of equipment, tools, consumables typically used in construction of process plant
- Understanding of shipping transport envelops and overlength/oversize requirements
- Ability to liaise with freight forwarders for pricing, delivery updates and any issues.
- Forecast any shipping and delivery risks and advise/mitigate accordingly.
- Excel/ Word
- Training on materials tracking software to be provided by Primero. Essential personal qualities
