Marketing and Social Media Assistant (Western Australia)

About Gentronics With a rich legacy dating back to 1982, Gentronics has solidified its position as the largest independent supplier of welding and industrial equipment in Western Australia. We currently supply mining, engineering, state and local government agencies, ship builders, transport and construction companies, the farming community and general retail. Position Overview We’re currently seeking a motivated and skilled digital marketing assistant to join our team in Welshpool on a full time basis. This role combines creativity with strategic thinking to enhance our brand presence across all social media platforms, as well as assisting in the creation of both traditional and digital marketing content, including catalogue production and website maintenance. A keen eye for detail is absolutely essential in this role. Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement digital marketing strategies.
- Day to day management of digital content updates on websites and social media.
- Graphic design and content creation for social media, e-marketing, print materials and website.
- Website management and optimisation.
- Liaise with relevant external agencies for design, production and distribution of traditional and digital media, as well as printed materials and promotional items.
- Assist with general administrative tasks within the office as required. Job Requirements
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- High level computer literacy and proficiency in using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- General proficiency in WordPress and associated tools.
- Ability to problem solve website issues.
- A qualification in Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Development or related field is a plus, but not required.
