About the Role We are seeking a Retail Capability Leader to lead the development and execution of LMG’s national training and capability strategy across both our internal Retail Operations teams and member network. This role will play a critical part in lifting capability, consistency and execution across the business by building scalable learning programs, operational training frameworks and development pathways that support long‑term member and business performance. A key priority for the role will be taking ownership of the development, launch and ongoing adoption of LMG’s national Learning Management System (LMS) across the network. This includes working closely with internal teams, Regional Managers and members to embed learning into everyday operations and drive meaningful engagement outcomes. Beyond capability and learning, the role will also support broader Retail Operations initiatives including field planning frameworks, KPI alignment, key account approaches and member remediation programs, ensuring operational standards are clearly defined and consistently executed nationally. This is a highly influential national role suited to someone passionate about capability building, behavioural change, operational excellence and creating scalable learning environments that improve performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute LMG’s national training and capability strategy across Retail Operations and members
- Own the development, rollout and ongoing optimisation of the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Drive adoption and engagement of learning programs across internal teams and member network
- Develop scalable onboarding, leadership and operational capability programs
- Create practical learning pathways that improve execution, consistency and commercial performance
- Partner with Regional Managers and field teams to embed capability frameworks into everyday operations
- Support development and alignment of KPI frameworks, field priorities and execution standards
- Contribute to key account and member remediation programs to lift performance outcomes
- Use insights and feedback to continuously improve capability, learning and operational frameworks About You You are passionate about capability building and thrive on helping teams and businesses improve performance through learning, structure and engagement. You bring energy, influence and a practical mindset, with the ability to translate strategy into programs that people genuinely adopt and use. You will bring:
- Experience in learning & development, capability, retail operations or operational leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience building and implementing training or capability programs at scale
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to drive adoption and behavioural change across diverse teams
- Experience managing operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Robust organisational and program management capability
- Commercial acumen and an understanding of retail or multi‑site operations environments
