First Class Machinist (Western Australia)

Hapco Engineers is an established Welshpool-based company currently seeking a First Class Manual Machinist to join our team. We are offering a full time, permanent position with an immediate start available for the right applicant. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established local company, offering a supportive workshop environment, consistent workload and varied machining work. We are looking for a fully qualified or trade experienced machinist with strong manual turning skills and a minimum of 3 years experience as a First Class Machinist. CNC experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls is advantageous but not essential. We offer excellent remuneration for the right candidate. About the Role
- Possess a valid trade certificate
- Operate a variety of machine tools confidently
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating manual lathes, milling machines, and drilling machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Apply sound production techniques
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Work well within a team environment
- Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and have a positive "can do" attitude What We Offer
