About theOpportunity WA Country Health Service(WACHS) Medical Workforce (Central Office) is seeking a motivatedand organised Administrative Assistant to join our agile teamsupporting the delivery of medical workforce services acrossregional Western Australia. This is an excitingentry-level opportunity to work within a high-performing team thatprovides strategic and operational support across recruitment,credentialing, contracts, onboarding, and workforce coordinationfor medical practitioners. You will play a key role inensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Medical Workforceteam by providing high-quality administrative and clerical supportto managers and team leaders. About theRole As an AdministrativeAssistant, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range ofadministrative and coordination services including:
- Providing confidentialadministrative and clerical support to the Medical WorkforceManager and team
- Managing incoming calls,correspondence, and general enquiries
- Coordinating meetings,preparing agendas, taking minutes, and trackingactions
- Preparing, formatting,and typing documents to a high standard
- Maintaining records,registers, and office systems
- Supporting onboarding andorientation of new staff, including system access
- Assisting with travelbookings and accommodation arrangements
- Supporting accountsprocesses including purchase orders and invoiceprocessing
- Undertaking data entry,record updates, and data cleansing activities
- Supporting smalladministrative projects and improvement initiatives AboutYou You are a highly organised,proactive, and reliable individual who enjoys working in afast-paced team environment. You bring strong communication skills,attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. To be successful, you willdemonstrate:
- Experience in providingadministrative support in a professionalenvironment
- Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organisation,time management, and prioritisation skills
- High-level computerskills, including Microsoft Office and data systems
- Ability to maintainconfidentiality and exercise discretion
- Experience in minutetaking and meeting coordination (desirable but notessential)
