As a full time Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in; Efficiently processing donations and products in accordance with operational requirements while providing high quality, person-centred support. Maintaining exceptional standards of culture, quality and safety and working collaboratively as an integral member of the Recycling Plant team to support the purpose and commercial objectives of Good Sammy, including creating meaningful employment opportunities and pathways. Support Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support a team of employees, including participants in their daily work activities.
- Assist participants with behaviour support and emotional regulation and assist to meet their individual employment goals.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records and Elmo training including leave, time and attendance, journal entries and noggin reports.
- With support from the Warehouse Coordinator, undertake people‑management responsibilities including inductions, training, volunteer oversight, performance and development planning, and Individual Employment Support Planning.
- Assist in facilitating safe participant departure and arrival during rostered work hours. Including escorting participants across the road to the bus stop, to a taxi/ride share service or to reception to await pick up.
- Work as a part of the wrap‑around support model and collaborate with Q&S;, Service Delivery and People and Diversity to ensure compliance with NDIS services and employment law. Operational Responsibilities
- Unload, load and sort donations and retail stock.
- Empty on‑site donation bins, cages and crates.
- Greet and assist customers.
- Ensure work areas are clean, maintained, safe, and that safe work practices and SOPs are always followed.
- Report any issues relating to safety, production, or equipment maintenance.
- Make recommendations to the supervisor regarding potential operational improvements.
- Follow Warehouse Coordinator’s direction and assist in undertaking operations activities and priorities including unloading, loading and sorting of donations and retail stock.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required. Full time shifts are from Monday to Friday, 7.30 am
- 3.30 pm. What you’ll bring
