Boilermaker – Fixed Plant (Western Australia)

Mader Group is a heavy equipment maintenance provider powered by mechanically minded specialists. About the Role Due to continued growth, Mader is seeking Fixed Plant Boilermakers to join our rostered maintenance crews on our FIFO rostered maintenance crews, offering a variety of 2/2, 8/6 and 2/1 rosters. This is a FIFO role based in Perth; interstate candidates are encouraged to apply. Applicants must arrange their own travel to and from Perth. Key Duties
- Demonstrated fault‑finding, repair and fabrication experience on fixed plant mining equipment
- Performing maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, chutes, hoppers, screens, pumps and structural components
- Welding, cutting, fabrication and structural repairs on fixed‑plant infrastructure
- Preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Shutdown support and plant upgrades

- Trade qualification: Boilermaker / Welder (Certificate III Engineering Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
- Driver’s licence
- Construction white card
- Confined space and working at heights tickets (essential)
- First aid & CPR (desirable)
- Gas test atmospheres ticket (essential)
- Fire/Hot work ticket (essential)
- Proven experience in fixed‑plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry
- Strong MIG, TIG and arc welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Solid commitment towards safety and quality
