This is not a relationship management role with a BDM title. This is a senior commercial role with genuine accountability — and the autonomy to match. As our Trade BDM for Perth, you own a defined portfolio of high‑value trade partners and you are measured on outcomes: portfolio growth, conversion, partner depth, and execution quality. You will work closely with our Perth showroom teams to embed trade as a core capability, not a parallel channel. You will coach, influence, and hold people accountable. You will manage a pipeline with discipline and translate data into decisions that drive results. What You Will Own Your Trade Portfolio Own and grow a defined portfolio of high‑value, high‑growth trade partners across Perth. Prioritise ruthlessly, manage pipeline with discipline, and drive sustainable residential trade growth — with selective commercial and developer‑led opportunities where appropriate. Showroom Integration Partner with Perth showroom teams to make trade a core capability, not a bolt‑on. Coach Design Consultants on trade selling, specification‑led conversations, and trade scripts. Work with Showroom Managers to set clear expectations on follow‑up, urgency, and accountability. Partner Relationships Act as the senior point of contact for key trade partners across the full project lifecycle. Proactively manage service issues, escalations, and disruptions with credibility and care. Close the loop — every time. Trade Events & Market Presence Own the commercial objectives and outcomes of trade events, activations, and roadshows across your region. Represent King Living with credibility across industry forums, design bodies, and trade networks. Commercial Reporting & Onboarding Maintain accurate CRM records and translate pipeline data into clear insights and actions. Lead structured onboarding for new trade partners, upholding King Trade program discipline across the portfolio. Who You Are You are a commercially sharp trade professional who owns your results — and you are ready for a role that holds you to that standard and rewards you for it. Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior trade sales or business development, ideally within furniture, interiors, or the A+D industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a defined customer portfolio with full commercial accountability
- Strong commercial judgement — you prioritise partners, time, and opportunities with discipline
- Data‑literate and confident using CRM, PowerBI, and reporting tools to manage performance
- Able to coach, influence, and hold internal teams accountable in a team-oriented and constructive manner
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable operating in complexity and ambiguity while maintaining structure and discipline
