Cleaner This is a permanent part‑time (0.44 FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026 at Eddystone Primary School. Salary: Level1, $1,256.20–$1,275.80 per week (pro‑rata) (GS (Misc.)GA2025). Location: Heathridge. Responsibilities To be successful for this role you should have a valuable attention to detail, be reliable, punctual, and have working knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures. You will carry out both internal and external cleaning duties, maintain a clean and safe school environment, and help keep the school in an excellent position.
- Internal cleaning includes maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning of furniture and fittings, windows, toilets and dusting.
- External duties include rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, external windows, verandas and covered areas, and cobweb removal.
- Participate in vacation cleaning which includes stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, carpet shampooing, pressure cleaning of undercover areas and verandas, and other duties as directed by the Cleaner‑In‑Charge. Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Working With Children Check.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before start.
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.
