Dealer Relationship Manager Smartgroup Corporation is looking for a dynamic and motivated Dealer Relationship Manager to join our team in Perth, WA. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing relationships with dealership representatives, increasing brand awareness, and expanding our market share through our partnership network. Why Smart? - Build strong rapport with key stakeholders, including dealership representatives, Procurement and Disposal teams, and Client Relationship Managers.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Procurement, BDMs, and Client Success to ensure seamless dealer engagement.
- Support growth strategy by increasing presence among car brokers and financial planners.
- Promote Smartgroup’s brand and offerings through effective stakeholder relationships, dealership visits, and active promotion.
- Convert opportunities into settled deals with excellent customer service and interactions.
- Identify and pursue cross‑selling opportunities with dealerships.
- Evaluate and engage with dealers to identify those best aligned for reciprocal business, including potential Disposal Partners.
- Ensure confidentiality, privacy, and integrity of information in compliance with privacy requirements and legislative obligations. Who You Are
- Experience in a relationship‑building role, ideally within the motor vehicle industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving results.
- Strong ability to negotiate and network with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in growing business opportunities and transactional sales through partnerships.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint is desirable.
