Make a Difference at Warragul Community Aged Care! We understand the significant value of volunteers and the great benefit they bring to our residents. We welcome the application of any person (regardless of age, background or gender) to complement the wonderful care and attention we offer. Why volunteer? Working in aged care can be an extremely rewarding and valuable experience. Many residents might otherwise miss out on contact from people in the local community. Volunteers provide this key link and offer companionship and casual, friendly communication. Volunteers get to share in first‑hand personal stories and experiences from our residents’ past while adding recent brightness to their present. Who should volunteer? Anyone. You don't need experience or any special skill, simply a willingness to join activities and an interest in having a chat. What I’ll Be Doing
- Provide companionship, listening and talking to residents.
- Participate in activities such as arts, gardening, bus outings, reading sessions and games.
