Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Designer to join the Kwinana Power Station Project Team in Perth! In this role, you will be responsible for technical design deliverables working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective and fit-for-purpose engineering and design output complying with company requirements. Responsibilities
- Delivery of technically acceptable design services for approved work to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and the company’s business needs.
- Work with technical specialists to ensure specification compliance and technical integrity of design.
- Prepare, check, and file design information including documents and data from suppliers and other disciplines.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of systems across the division.
- Manage customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technically programmed outcomes.
- Liaise regularly with the manager to report progress, areas of concern, issues, and potential changes. Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Senior Designer position.
- Positive knowledge of local and international Codes and Standards.
- Relevant experience in engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in the Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals, or Infrastructure / Utilities sectors.
- Detailed understanding and experience of design drafting using 2D and 3D computer‑assisted design (CAD) tools.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering. Benefits
