Max term contract until September 2027 | Full time | Hybrid role Rivervale WA About the role and where you will be working This full time max term contract until September 2027 is based in Rivervale Western Australia. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to work from home two days per week. As the HRMIS Project Manager you will lead the delivery of a key organisational initiative focused on reviewing, optimising and planning improvements to our Human Resources Management Information System. You will be responsible for delivering the project in alignment with our Project Management Governance Framework using approved tools and templates. This includes defining and managing project scope, coordinating internal and external resources, ensuring effective vendor oversight and maintaining solid stakeholder engagement across People and Culture, Technology & Transformation, Finance and operational teams. You will help guide the project to successful delivery by keeping it on track with agreed timeframes, budgets and quality expectations while staying ahead of risks, dependencies and communication needs throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities
- Developing and implementing detailed project plans including scope, timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and governance requirements.
- Leading the HRMIS review and optimisation process including mapping current state processes, identifying gaps and supporting future state design.
- Building solid relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors and delivery partners to ensure effective collaboration, accountability and performance.
- Proactively identifying, assessing and managing project risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating where required.
- Coordinating and leading cross‑functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, resource alignment and support for change management activities.
- Ensuring all project activities comply with internal policies, aged care standards and relevant legislation while maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date documentation in approved systems.
- Promoting a culture of safety by reporting hazards and incidents and ensuring work is undertaken in line with WHS procedures. Candidate profile You are a proactive and results‑driven Project Manager with demonstrated experience delivering complex business or technology projects, ideally including HR payroll or enterprise system implementations. You communicate with clarity, influence effectively and build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. You thrive in environments where priorities shift and collaboration is essential. With strong analytical and problem‑solving skills you identify issues early, understand root causes and implement practical solutions. You are confident using project management tools and understand the importance of compliance, governance and documentation. Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation through to closure with strong alignment to governance frameworks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management capability including balancing competing needs and facilitating collaboration.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with experience analysing issues and implementing practical solutions.
- Proficiency with project planning and tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Power BI.
- Understanding of aged care sector requirements and alignment to WHS and risk management practices. Benefits
