SIRROM has a current chance for a Roving Health, Safety, Environment, Quality & Training (HSEQT) Advisor to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Chef or Hospitality Leader with strong food safety, compliance, and auditing experience who is ready to transition into a professional HSE / WHS / OHS Advisor career. Working Monday-Friday on a adaptable FIFO roster, you will travel across SIRROM sites in remote WA and NT, supporting site managers, head chefs, and operational teams. Reporting to the Regional Operations Managers, you will play a key role in coaching leaders, promoting safe work practices, and strengthening our safety culture. This position suits someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and exposure to diverse operational environments. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide roving HSEQT support across multiple WA sites, with regular Mon‑Fri travel and additional ad‑hoc travel to WA & NT (1‑2 weeks each quarter)
- Build strong working relationships with corporate, operations, and client site teams
- Coach and mentor leaders — including site managers and head chefs — on WHS/OHS obligations
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations (ICAM advantageous)
- Complete Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments
- Coordinate online safety meetings and programs
- Manage incident records in Sirrom’s Safety Management System and client systems (e.g., INX)
- Assist with statistical reporting for managers and leadership teams
- Deliver safety training as required
- Maintain training registers
- Support injury management processes Mandatory Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum Certificate IV)

- mandatory Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar FIFO or remote‑based WHS/OHS/HSE role
- Demonstrated experience conducting incident investigations, safety inspections and audits
- ICAM or equivalent incident investigation training (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of safety management systems and compliance frameworks
- Ability to travel on a varied roster with reasonable notice
- Strong initiative, problem‑solving skills, and ability to influence leaders
- Ability to identify and implement business improvement initiatives Highly Regarded
- Extensive hospitality, kitchen, or Head Chef background
- Strong food safety audit experience
- Auditing training and experience
- Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 4501, ISO 22001
