The Role We are seeking a motivated Civil Asset Engineer to join our team on a part‑time basis, with the opportunity to transition into full‑time work as our project pipeline grows. This role will focus on road condition assessments and asset data management, supporting road maintenance and rehabilitation programs. You will:
- Conduct road inspections and condition assessments on urban and rural roads.
- Utilise QGIS to manage and analyse spatial data, producing asset network maps, and decision‑support tools.
- Capture, collate, and interpret client asset data with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in preparing condition assessment and treatment reports, specifications, and tender/construction documentation.
- Apply and refine field data collection processes to improve consistency and quality.
- Uphold company and industry safety standards, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation. About You To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in road asset management and/or road construction.
- Strong skills in QGIS for data integration, analysis, and visualisation.
- Experience with Power BI is highly regarded.
- A current Class C driver’s licence.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. What We Offer

- Applicants must have demonstrated work experience within Australia (experience in Western Australia will be highly regarded).
