Overview This is for a Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time appointment with the possibility of extension(s). Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments). WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. You may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. This vacancy is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check. For information refer to the WWC website. This recruitment process requires completion of satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA). An offer of employment is conditional on satisfactory PEHA. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer being withdrawn. While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the health service. If the successful applicant declines or vacates the advertised vacancy, another suitable applicant may be selected. This process remains valid for twelve (12) months from the authorised recruitment decision. Position Profile We are currently seeking to appoint a Patient Service Assistant. To provide cleaning and catering services to the Tom Price Hospital. Provide assistance with non-clinical patient related needs under the direction of the clinical staff.
