Inventory & Logistics Officer (Alexandria)

About Us Ocius Technology is an Australian company dedicated to developing and deploying cutting edge Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USVs). Our vessel's harness Wind, Solar and Wave power to remain at sea collecting vital data for Defence and Civilian applications. We are under contracts with RAN, RNZN and USA and are responding in an agile way to an ambitious program of building and deploying multiple USVs for operations around Australia and beyond. About the Role The Inventory & Logisitcs officer will work within our Supply Chain team to manage inventory to ensure new Bluebottles are delivered on time, and maintenance is able to keep our operational fleet on water. The Inventory officer will continue to refine our processes and ensure increased efficiency across the team A typical day could include:
- Monitoring inventory levels to plan and forecast order of supplies, materials and equipment for production
- Receipting goods and shipping products
- Creating reports and analysing performance against key performance indicators Selection Criteria:
- 3 years of experience managing inventory controls in production or manufacturing
- Experience receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing inventory in a production setting
- Strong experience managing inventory and workflows via an ERP system, NetSuite preferred
- Ability to follow inventory procedures, documentation requirements, and adhere to workplace safety practices
