**About the opportunity**

The **Student Engagement Advisor**provides and promotes client focused service by providing in-person and online advisory and student engagement programs across Library sites to support students and provide access to the information resources and services required to support the learning, teaching and research of the University’s staff and students as well as the community users.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- deliver client-focused frontline Library information services
- deliver high-quality student engagement services
- support a welcoming and functional environment for clients
- lead activities within a designated Service Group in areas such as Technology, Frontline, Collections, Concert Support and Student Experience
- support the team in identifying and responding to the current and future needs of internal and external clients.

**About you**
- a diploma level qualification or Certificate IV, with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education/training and relevant experience
- enjoys working in a team workplace with a common purpose of supporting the Student Experience
- a positive approach to customer service
- must have demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve and exercise sound judgement
- ability to demonstrate initiative and attention to detail, including effectively prioritising workload during busy periods.
