Associate Recruiter, 6 Month Contract Alexandria

What to Expect

Due to incremental growth in the Australia market, Tesla is looking to hire an exceptional Technical Recruiter on a 6-month contract. One hire at a time, the Tesla recruitment team are finding the talent responsible for changing the world of energy and transportation, moving us forward to a more sustainable future. This role is based in either our Sydney Alexandria HQ or can also be based in Melbourne.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in helping the company expand its high-calibre teams by hiring technical roles including Utility Service Technicians, Engineers, Vehicle Service Technicians / Mechanics, Panelbeaters etc.

What You'll Do

High volume recruiting managing an average of up to 20 roles at a time, reporting on progress weekly

Partnering with hiring managers to assess their talent requirements

Conducting phone screens to assess both technical baseline as well as skills and sttitude to be successful in the Tesla setting

Scheduling interviews and maintaining system accuracy

Using a variety of sourcing techniques and creativity to discover and attract the best passive talent

What You'll Bring

Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience, from either an inhouse or agency setting

Experience in recruiting Technical or Blue Collar roles eg. Engineers, Utility Service Technicians, Vehicle Technicains, Mechanics or Apprentices

Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing talent, skilled in offer negotiation, awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends

Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, helping them navigate the sources of talent and assisting them with assessment

This position will be onsite at our Tesla HQ working within the business, however will be payrolled as a contractor via our agency partner.
