Geelong Aquatic Centre is a privately owned and operated swim school with two heated, salt-chlorinated pools and a strong reputation built over nearly 30 years in the Geelong community. We specialise in Learn to Swim programs, school swimming, and water safety education, and we pride ourselves on offering a welcoming, inclusive, and professional setting for families across the region.

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced swimming instructors to join our dedicated team. Our instructors play a key role in teaching essential swimming and water safety skills while fostering confidence, enjoyment, and a lifelong love of the water.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Learn to Swim lessons in line with Geelong Aquatic Centre’s teaching standards

Provide a protected, fun, and supportive learning workplace for children of varying ages and abilities

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and swimmers

Assist with water safety education and progression assessments

About You:

Hold a current Swim Teacher License (through AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia, or Life Saving Victoria)

Hold a current CPR certificate:

Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC):

Have a minimum of 1 year’s experience as a swimming instructor

Be available to teach during school hours on weekdays:

Be reliable, professional, and passionate about teaching swimming and water safety
