**Event Operations Coordinator / Event Production Assistant (Casual → Part-Time / Full-Time) | Sydney**

First Sunday Events is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Event Operations Coordinator / Event Production Assistant to join our team in Sydney.

This role focuses on event logistics, warehouse management, event production, and onsite coordination, with the opportunity to grow into a permanent part-time or full-time position as we enter our peak event season.

You will work directly with our Operations Lead to support the execution of high-end events, ensuring all systems, assets, and logistics are delivered to an exceptional standard.

**Role Structure & Progression**

We are currently in our seasonal quiet period and are offering casual, project-based work across four upcoming events between March and August. This will act as a paid trial and onboarding phase. From September 2026, the role will transition into a consistent part time or full-time position, aligned with our weekly event schedule.

**Key Responsibilities**

Event Logistics & Operations
- Coordinate event setup and pack down (bump in / bump out)
- Manage loading, transport, and delivery using company vehicles
- Support end-to-end event logistics and production workflows

Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee event inventory systems, stocktakes, and asset tracking
- Maintain styling assets to a high standard (cleaning, repairs, organisation)
- Ensure warehouse efficiency and readiness for event cycles

Event Production & Styling Execution
- Assist in building and executing custom event props and installations
- Source materials and coordinate with third-party fabricators
- Deliver high-end event styling with strong attention to detail

Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead onsite crews during event setups when required
- Provide explicit direction under time pressure
- Support smooth coordination across multiple events

Systems & Tools
- Use digital platforms for inventory management and project coordination
- Maintain accurate records and operational systems

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Experience in event coordination, event production, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Strong communication skills (fluent English)
- High attention to detail (both operational and aesthetic)
- Reliable, proactive, and physically capable of hands-on work
- Ability to transition between warehouse tasks and onsite event coordination
- Valid driver’s license (required)
