Dental Assistant (Newtown)

Aviva Dental is a busy and expanding modern practice situated in beautiful Newtown surrounded by a variety of cafes and boutique shops. We are family dental practice that is patient-focused and provide exceptional care to anyone who walks through our doors. We are looking for an experienced all rounder dental assistant to join our practice. The candidate will need to be a friendly, respectful, motivated and a team player as we know this leads to outstanding camaraderie between our staff members and excellent job satisfaction. The role requires a competency at mainly chairside dental assisting but dental reception experience will be well regarded. We are offering a permanent part-time position for 3 days per week Some skills we are looking for include:
- Ability to work well as a of a team player but also independently as required
- Good communication skills
- Excellent presentation and positive demeanor
- Good organisation and multi-tasking skills
- Motivated and willing to adapt and learn
- Empathetic and caring
- Able to use or be familiar with Dental 4 Windows
- Preference would be given to candidates with Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting.
