The dietetic department is seeking a level 1-2 dietitian who aligns with our Founder’s vision of creating a cooperative environment in which, respect, discovery, empowerment, and nurture thrive in the interests of our patients.

**Your daily duties will include**:

- Nutritional management of oncology inpatients and outpatients including conducting comprehensive nutrition assessment, planning, and implementing appropriate nutrition intervention and providing education and counselling to patients and their carer’s.
- Participation in multidisciplinary, allied health and dietetic team meetings.
- Participation in supervision, teaching and education activities and quality improvement initiatives.
- Working with the food service provider to support the provision of safe, high-quality meals.

**Selection criteria
- To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics with eligibility for APD status with Dietitians Australia
- At least one year of post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting. Experience in the clinical areas of oncology, upper gastrointestinal, colorectal, and/or head and neck surgery is desirable.
- Evidence of experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Evidence of commitment to professional development
- Evidence of involvement in quality activities
