ICT Helpdesk Support Officer
- Fixed term, full time for up to 12 months
- Band 5
- Salary range $75,517
- $83,925 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
- Based in Camperdown, Victoria “Working at Corangamite Shire allows for a supportive work-life balance alongside friendly people passionate about our community.” About the position Corangamite Shire Council is seeking an ICT Helpdesk Support Officer to deliver timely, customer-focused ICT support to staff and Councillors. The main responsibilities will include:
- Providing face-to-face, on-site support, including at remote Council locations
- Responding to helpdesk requests and troubleshooting hardware, software and system issues
- Delivering clear, practical advice to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Maintaining and supporting Council’s ICT systems, networks and devices
- Assisting with system administration, security and user access
- Supporting mobile devices including smartphones and tablets
- Coordinating hardware setup, upgrades and repairs, including liaising with external vendors
- Maintaining ICT asset registers, documentation and system records About you
- Completion of Certificate III in IT-related discipline
- Experience providing IT support
- Experiencing using Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills
