The position of Administration Officer exists within the Sydney Local Health District and provides administrative support to the Manager Redevelopment Project team. The role will be an integral part of the Project Team and will be required to provide administrative support in particular with the organisation and coordination of meetings and associated papers and administrative functions associated with procurement. - Ability in using Microsoft Office Software packages, in particular Word, Excel, Access and Power Point; fast, accurate typing; dictaphone transcribing; and minute taking skills.
- Ability in using MS Office software (especially Excel and Access) to create reports to assist management in decision making.
- Proven experience in successfully working as part of a busy senior management team including preparation of draft briefs and reports, meeting strict deadlines and diary management for senior staff, and the ability to organise high level management committees.
- Advanced skills and knowledge in respect of pay roll functions, leave application processes, and requisitioning.
- Interest, experience and knowledge of OH&S; requirements and functions including a proven ability in using the IIMS data management system. Benefits and Perks!
