**About the Role**

Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

The procurement officer is responsible for all functions relating procurement of furniture, fittings and equipment for the Capital Assets Property and Engineering Department including program development, supplier liaison and financial reporting. The position also provides management support to Capital Assets, Property and Engineering Department as required.

- Extensive knowledge and experience in health procurement including an understanding of NSW Health Procurement Policies.
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of work, ensuring deadlines are met within a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to make good business decisions/judgements when negotiating best value outcomes.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
