We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team and provide high-quality generalist and advisory HR support across the employee lifecycle. The Opportunity Reporting to senior leadership, this role will partner closely with managers and employees to deliver pragmatic, compliant, and commercially sound HR advice. You will play a key role in supporting workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR initiatives aligned with Bayton Group’s strategic objectives. This is a hands-on advisory role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong relationships across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to leaders and employees on people management policies, procedures, and best practice
- Support workforce planning, talent management, and organisational initiatives
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including job advertising, candidate selection, and employment offers
- Coordinate employee onboarding, probation reviews, employment variations, and offboarding processes
- Develop training programs aligned with competency development and talent management
- Provide advice and support on performance management, underperformance, and development planning
- Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and policy interpretation
- Apply and interpret Australian employment legislation, awards, and company policies
- Contribute to HR projects, policy reviews, engagement, wellbeing, and continuous improvement initiatives About You You are a confident, professional HR practitioner with strong generalist experience who is comfortable providing advice at all levels of the organisation. Essential criteria:
- Degree in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Organisational Psychology, Business, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist or advisory HR role
- Sound working knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR best practice Desirable:
- Experience in an HR Business Partner or senior advisory role
- Exposure to learning and development, workforce planning, or organisational change Key Skills & Attributes
