**Opportunity to join Associate Professor Khoon Lim as a Postdoctoral Research Associate**
- **Full time, fixed term for 12 months**
- **Base Salary from $113,400 + 17% superannuation**

Our team of researchers lead key internationally competitive research from molecules to medicines, from patient to policy across a range of therapeutic areas.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate applies and develops their expertise in conducting research to further the Faculty or School's research agenda. They conduct research and/or scholarly activities under the limited supervision of senior academic staff, either independently or as part of a research team.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- conduct research, scholarly or professional activity, independently as part of a team, contributing to discipline knowledge
- develop and refine independent research skills under the supervision of more senior academic staff (with an increasing degree of autonomy)
- provide informal mentoring and advice to students within discipline
- carry out administrative tasks and contribute to faculty/school meetings
- contribute to a positive workplace culture in which diversity of thought, contribution, collaboration, excellence and achieving outcomes are valued and enabled
- understand and contribute to furthering the university and faculty/school strategic agenda
- undertake other duties and contribute to projects appropriate within the classification level as required.
**About you**
- PhD in a relevant field
- biomaterials, bioengineering, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
- demonstrated proficiency in biomaterials synthesis, biofabrication/bioprinting (lithography-based technologies), and materials characterization techniques
- experience conducting original research and/or engaging in scholarly activity
- a developing network of academic, industry and skilled partners and stakeholders
- skills in qualitative research methods and ability to lead research involving interviews and focus groups
- experience conducting original research and/or engaging in scholarly activity
- excellent written and verbal communication skills.
