**Role Overview**:

- **Store Hours & Availability**:

- Monday to Friday: 10 AM
- 6 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM
- 2 PM
- Flexible roster system accommodating university schedules
- Minimum 2-4 shifts per week required

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service & Retail Operations**:

- Greet customers, process film drop-offs, and manage work orders with accuracy and professionalism.
- Provide guidance on film, cameras, and related accessories to help customers make informed decisions.
- Handle payments, maintain accurate transaction records, and ensure a smooth checkout process.
- **Photo Lab Support**:

- Assist with organising and preparing film for processing.
- Conduct quality checks on scanned images or prints to ensure they meet customer expectations.
- Operate Adobe Lightroom Classic for basic image adjustments and post-production tasks.
- **Store Presentation & Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean, organised workspace to support the handling of sensitive photographic materials.
- Restock shelves, track inventory, and ensure product displays are visually appealing.

**What We’re Looking For**: **Required Skills and Experience**:

- At least **6 months of customer service experience**, ideally in a technical or retail environment.
- Solid digital literacy and system management capabilities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Basic understanding of image processing concepts (can be taught)

**Preferred Experience**:

- Previous experience in **retail sales**, especially with technical or photography-related products.
- A general interest in photography and some experience using photo editing tools like Lightroom or similar.

**Personal Traits**:

- Dependable and responsible, with the ability to open and close the store independently.
- Ability to maintain consistent quality in repetitive technical tasks.
