Medical Receptionist (Newtown)

The role is a **full time position** working 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, between **6:15am-8pm.**You will also perform 1 Saturday shift per month, of 7:45am-2pm at overtime rates.

Role Overview: As a **Medical Receptionist**, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
- Billing procedures
- private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

What we're looking for: Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.

Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.

A strong background in customer service.
