A Disability Support Worker helps people with physical, intellectual, psychosocial, or developmental disabilities live more independently and safely. Typical duties include: Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) Helping with meal preparation and household tasks Supporting clients with medication reminders Taking clients to appointments or community activities Providing emotional and social support Helping clients build life skills and independence Writing daily progress notes and reports Supporting mobility and transfers if needed Workplaces can include: Client homes Group homes Community centres Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes Day programs Pay: $5,800.00 – $6,700.00 per month Benefits:
