**About the Role**

This is an exciting time for Belgravia Leisure as we look to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced **Health and Fitness Manager** to build and lead a passionate, professional and highly engaged fitness team.

As the Health and Fitness Manager you will be a strong people leader who will be responsible for the recruitment, ongoing training and development of all Health and Fitness staff.

You will oversee the day to day management of the health club, group fitness and personal training programs and will provide leadership and direction to ensure we meet the health and fitness needs of the community.

You will deliver and drive exceptional service and a culture of innovation. The health club will offer a diverse range of group fitness classes, a highly qualified fitness professional team, relevant industry trends and a non-intimidating, welcoming and supportive environment.

You will identify opportunities (including new programs) to maximise participation and will develop and execute plans through engagement with the leadership team and key stakeholders. With strong business acumen, experience as a leader in the Health and Fitness Industry and experience in delivering exceptional customer service you will continue to drive the overall fitness experience of our guests.

The Health and Fitness Manager’s key accountabilities include:

- Delivery of strong member engagement offerings that attract high attendance
- Ensure all Personal Training sessions are tailored to our client’s needs
- Recruit and inspire a team of enthusiastic fitness professionals
- Ensure up to 90% of new members are scheduled for their Begin appointments
- Provide a quality group fitness timetable including seasonal and quarterly updates
- Manage secure and efficient health and fitness programs within legislative guidelines
- Ensure all health club and group fitness equipment is in secure working order at al times
- Maintain NPS and mystery shop scores in line with KPIs adopted by Belgravia Leisure
- Manage budgets and prepare required reports
- Demonstrate behaviours that are consistent with the Belgravia Leisure C.L.E.A.R. values

**About You**

You will be a leader open to new ideas and discovering creative opportunities to get the community moving. You have experience in leading a team to achieve collective and individual targets and are truly passionate about helping others achieve their goals.

You have strong communication skills that build rapport and positive relationships with people.

Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ experience in the Health and Fitness Industry and proven experience as a personal trainer or exercise physiologist. Leading by example is a high priority and you can positively influence and negotiate win-win outcomes. You possess values such as integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect leadership and accountability.

**About the Site**

The East Keilor Leisure Centre includes a number of facilities that benefits many of the local community including 50m heated outdoor pool, 25m indoor lap pool, learn to swim pool, warm water program pool, spa, steam and sauna, as well as an indoor water playground for young children.

There is also be multi-purpose rooms for health and fitness classes, gym, wellness, café, family change rooms and creche, all with a high level of regard to disability access. Thus, ensuring that Belgravia Leisure continues its purpose and mission of “**connecting community to leisure**” and in turn providing every member of the community the opportunity to take advantage of this incredible facility.
