About the Role We’re looking for an Intermediate or Senior Tax Accountant who’s ready to take ownership of their work and grow with us. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients and provide high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services. Your day will involve:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Managing compliance and tax matters including FBT, GST, and related obligations
- Identifying opportunities to add value through business and tax advisory support
- Building solid relationships with clients and providing practical, solutions-focused advice
- Collaborating with a close-knit team and having direct access to supportive Directors What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (CA or CPA qualified or working towards it – preferred but not essential)
- Intermediate: Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Australian public practice
- Senior: Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice (or based on experience)
- Strong working knowledge of MYOB and Xero
- Experience with Handisoft and Simple Fund BGL 360 is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
