Qualifications and requirements
Completed Bachelor of Business or Commerce (Accounting).
Studying CA/CPA (or close to completion).
2‑3+ years of experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting.
Experienced in servicing SME clients and high net worth individuals, and you’re a gun at preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.
Intermediate to advanced software skills in accounting packages (Xero preferred) and Microsoft Office.
A driven skilled ready to grow into a standout client‑facing role.
Relationship‑driven leader dedicated to building the capability and empowerment of colleagues.
Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Direct management of client portfolio will be viewed favourably.
Role responsibilities
Technical responsibilities including the preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns, providing tax planning recommendations, identifying tax issues, and applying expertise in Div 7A, FBT, and CGT.
Active involvement in strategic management accounting tools and advice to support our growing client base.
Contributes to the development of Graduate Accountants through on‑the‑job coaching.
