You will be responsible for providing expert advice and tailored mortgage solutions to clients, ensuring their financial goals are met. This role involves cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, lenders, and referral partners, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their financial needs and goals, and provide expert advice on mortgage options.
- Lender Liaison: Liaise with lenders to negotiate and secure the best possible mortgage terms for clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and lenders to drive business growth.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in lending products and policies.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management on loan progress and pipeline.
**Key Requirements**: **Qualifications**:
- Relevant qualifications in finance, business, or a related field.
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or equivalent).
**Experience**:
- At least 4 years as a Mortgage Broker or in a similar financial services role. A Loan Processor or Finance Analyst will be considered if they have 4+ years experience
- Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, including lender policies and procedures.
- Experience in using MyCRM software
- Experience with self employed, SMSF and trust structures
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in mortgage broking software and CRM systems.
