You’ll play a key role in ensuring every person who enters the centre feels safe, welcome, and supported. What You’ll Do This is more than a security role — it’s a position with purpose, responsibility, and impact. Your Day‑to‑day Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing a strong and professional security presence while delivering exceptional customer service
- Supporting tenants, guests, visitors, and staff in a professional and approachable manner
- Conducting proactive foot patrols, safety inspections, and maintaining situational awareness across the site
- Operating and monitoring the Control Room, including CCTV surveillance, alarm monitoring, radio communications, and incident coordination
- Managing access control systems and responding efficiently to client and tenant requests
- Responding confidently and effectively to incidents, emergencies, alarms, evacuations, and critical situations
- Performing Chief Warden duties during emergencies, including coordinating evacuations, communicating with emergency services, and ensuring site safety procedures are followed
- Building strong working relationships with retail partners, contractors, emergency services, and centre management
- Completing accurate incident reports, emergency logs, and daily activity reports using digital reporting systems
- Maintaining a high standard of professionalism, presentation, communication, and operational readiness at all times What You’ll Bring To succeed with Assetlink, you’ll need:
- A valid NSW Full Security Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional presentation and confidence dealing with the public
- Sound judgement and problem‑solving skills
- Flexibility to work across a rotating 7‑day roster
