About the Role Williams Sonoma Outlet store in Essendon is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver a unique shopping experience through excellent customer service in a quick‑paced specialty retail environment. This permanent part‑time position requires 40 hours per fortnight on a fixed two‑week rotating roster that includes alternate weekends. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to customers.
- Use product knowledge to create a fantastic in‑store experience.
- Assist with gift wrapping, gift registry, deliveries and furniture orders.
- Perform register transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Apply effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity.
- Support visual merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting. Qualifications
- Experience in retail sales, ideally in specialty retail and/or homewares.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Passion for selling and a drive to exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Physical Requirements
- Mobile throughout store and back‑of‑house areas, including standing for long periods.
- Capable of climbing ladders and using equipment in line with safety standards.
- Able to lift and mobilise medium to large items up to 30kg using appropriate equipment and safety techniques. Advantages
