Permanent Part-time position and casual positions available The permanent part-time position requires availability every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as well as alternating weekends. This role is predominantly Reception focused and would suit a highly efficient and organised individual with excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. Casual positions will offer 8 hour shifts rostered Monday to Sunday, between 6am and 4pm. Shift commencement times vary anytime between 6:00am to 7:30am and may include weekend work. The Position
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient information and medical records from unauthorised access.
- Accurate and timely scanning of health record documents in the Scanned Health Record System (SHRS).
- Prepare health records for scanning.
- Upload electronic documents into the SHRS.
- Perform quality activities on scanned documents.
- Correct identified anomalies in the SHRS.
- Maintain record tracking, filing and archive systems in primary and secondary storage locations.
- Maintain the medical records storage area(s) through culling/archive, destruction and file maintenance of medical records.
- Delivery of medical records to locations throughout the Hospital site as necessary.
- Daily processing of mail and filing of clinical and administrative forms and reports into the patient medical record.
- Assist with ordering and unpacking of stationary and medical record form supplies required and received by the department.
- Assist with audits undertaken by the department.
- Receive and process requests for patient information from internal and external parties as per Hospital/Group policy.
- Perform other HIS clerical duties as directed.
- Participate in the ongoing development and training programs. You will have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal in addition to accurate and efficient keyboard, computer and data entry skills, showing attention to detail at all times. - Salary: $68,939 to $74,417, plus 12% superannuation
- Permanent part-time position working 26 hours per week and casual positions available with shift cover across Monday to Sunday
