About the Role We are seeking a passionate and student-focused SEE Teacher to deliver foundation skills training under the Australian Government’s Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program. You will support adult learners to build their language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills to enhance employment outcomes and community participation. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training in language, literacy, numeracy (LLN), and digital skills
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit diverse learner needs
- Conduct skills assessments and create individual learning plans
- Support learners from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines and RTO standards About You
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Qualification in adult education, TESOL, or similar (highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience teaching LLN or foundation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage and motivate disadvantaged or long-term unemployed learners
- Understanding of Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) (desirable) Highly Regarded
- Experience delivering under the Skills for Education and Employment Program
- TESOL qualification or experience teaching English as an additional language
- Experience working with job seekers, migrants, or refugees What We Offer
