Construction Supervisor
- Trainees and Experienced About the Role Summit Homes Group has opportunities for Residential Construction Supervisors to join our New Homes Construction team. You will play a key role overseeing construction across multiple residential sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will work closely with a team of skilled tradespeople and supervisors to coordinate all aspects of residential construction, including foundations, framing, fit‑outs, and finishing works.
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors.
- Monitoring progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Resolving on‑site issues and managing competing priorities.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and mentoring your team. About You
- Proven experience supervising construction teams and subcontractors in residential building projects or a strong trade background and a passion to work within a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Sound understanding of WHS legislation and the ability to maintain safe work practices on‑site.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plans.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and attention to detail.
- A commitment to high‑quality workmanship and mentoring your team by leading by example.
- Trade qualifications or a Diploma in Building and Construction are highly regarded. What we offer
