- Advanced Heart Failure / Cardiac Transplantation. This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part‑Time appointments for 6–12 months with the possibility of extension(s). Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/09/2026. Position Profile: This position will coordinate and participate in the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures of the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Service. This would include but would not be limited to non‑invasive cardiac imaging with direct procedural involvement in transthoracic echocardiography, trans‑oesophageal echocardiography, myocardial biopsy, right heart catheterisation, PICC line insertion, pericardiocentesis and other procedures as required. Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783‑bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose‑built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
