**About Us**

Infinity Car Rentals is a fast-growing Melbourne-based vehicle rental company specialising in accident replacement vehicles and insurance-related hire claims. With a large and expanding fleet, we work closely with insurers, panel shops, solicitors and third parties to recover hire costs and manage claims efficiently.

We are seeking a motivated **Motor Recoveries / Claims Manager** to manage accident replacement claims and maximise recovery outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a portfolio of motor vehicle hire and accident replacement claims
- Liaise with insurance companies, solicitors, panel beaters, repairers and third parties
- Negotiate settlements for hire car charges and associated costs
- Investigate claims to determine liability and recovery opportunities
- Prepare and manage demand letters, settlement negotiations and legal referrals
- Monitor outstanding claims and ensure timely recovery of payments
- Maintain accurate records of claims progress and communications
- Attend panel beaters, repair shops and other stakeholders when required to build relationships, investigate claims and support recovery outcomes
- Work closely with management to improve claims recovery strategies

**Requirements**:

- Experience in motor claims, recoveries or insurance settlements
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of motor insurance claims processes and liability disputes
- Ability to manage multiple files and prioritise workloads
- Ability to travel locally and meet panel beaters, repairers and stakeholders when required
- Experience dealing with insurers, legal representatives and panel shops is highly desirable
- ANZIIF qualifications desirable but not essential
- **Experience managing insurer portfolios such as Suncorp, IAG, Allianz or QBE will be highly regarded**:

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred experience in:

- Motor insurance claims
- Credit hire / accident replacement industry
- Recoveries and settlements
