Fiberglass Boat Assembly / Boat Builder / Shipwright Noosaville

With sales at an unprecedented high, we are looking to expand our team with experienced and inexperienced individuals.Noosa Cat has multiple positions available for fiberglass assembly/boat builders to join our boat building team. Experienced applicants preferred, although those with a basic trade knowledge considered.

Training is predominantly on the job with guidance from senior staff.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Hull, deck and cabin joining.

Underfloor and above floor construction.

Laminating, sanding, flowcoating and installation of fiberglass components and superstructure.

Marking and cutting woven and core materials following templates, guides or specific dimensions.

Hold trade qualifications in boat building or have demonstrated fiberglass assembly/ boat building experience.

Ability to work with basic shop tools and equipment used in the assembly of fiberglass boats.

Flexibility to move within fit-out areas and multi task.

Have a solid eye for detail, accuracy and quality.

Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.

The ability to problem solve, work independently and self-manage is required.

Job Types: Full time, Casual, Subcontract, Permanent

Pay: $28.00
- $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift

8 hour shift

Experience:

boat building or construction: 1 year (preferred)
