Tanglewood Organic Sourdough Bakery is a small artisan bakery based in Noosaville within Belmondos Organic Market. We are a busy wholesale bakery using artisan skills, hard work and the best local & organic produce to stock cafes, restaurants, markets, our own 2 retail bakeries and other shops on the Sunshine Coast. We pride ourselves on our craftmanship, specialising in organic produce, slow ferment sourdoughs and viennoiserie. We are seeking for an Experienced Baker, French trained to join our passionate small hard working fun team. About you: This opportunity is suited for someone who is looking to take his/her craftmanship further. Work in a supportive team and progress their career. The right candidate will have a good eye for detail and presentation of product, able to follow systems and procedures. Willing to work autonomously and as part of a team. ● Minimum 2-3 years of French style artisan bread and croissant making experience required ● Have experience with artisan sourdough and knowledge of natural fermentation ● Excellent hand moulding skills ● Must be willing to work the oven ● Must have good communication skills & work within a team ● Strict adherence to food safety regulations and good eye for details Essential requirements: ● Certificate III in Retail Baking & Patisserie ● A great attitude and willingness to learn ● Proven experience in similar roles ● Strong product knowledge, including artisan sourdough, croissants and pastries What we offer: ● 38 hr work week ● Ideal Kitchen location with plenty of street parking ● Outstanding work culture, working alongside committed professionals ● Learning & Development an with experienced baking team and a pastry chef with Michelin Star and 3 hat experience ● Creative opportunity, product development ● Career development as part of a growing business This position offers an opportunity to work within a fast-growing hospitality business with an emphasis on supporting personal development.
