We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our growing team.This is an exciting opportunity for a solid construction leader who thrives in fast-paced project environments and is passionate about safety, quality, programme delivery, and leading high-performing teams. About the Role Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, driving programme outcomes, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will play a critical leadership role on site, managing construction activities across multiple work fronts while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Lead all site-based construction activities from commencement through to completion
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant, and materials to maintain programme outcomes
- Monitor quality standards and proactively manage defects and non-conformances
- Develop and maintain short-term construction programmes in line with the master programme
- Manage trade sequencing and site logistics to minimise disruption and delays
- Chair subcontractor and project coordination meetings
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders
- Mentor and lead Site Supervisors, cadets, graduates, and construction workers
- Support Indigenous engagement, participation, and culturally safe work practices across projects Skills & Experience
- 8-15 years' experience in commercial construction
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, trade qualification, or strong industry experience
- Proven experience delivering projects safely and within programme constraints
- Strong leadership and subcontractor management capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to identify and manage construction, safety, and programme risks
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and site operations
- Commitment to quality outcomes and continuous improvement
