We are looking for a meticulous and compassionate individual looking to contribute to the well-being of elderly residents in an aged care facility. Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents

Working within a supportive and dynamic team, you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work setting, as well as an opportunity for you to contribute and make a real difference to the residential aged care community.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift

Interacting with the residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner

Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, following established cleaning protocols

Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the facility

Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution

Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission

Follow protected work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Collaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.

To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply an NDIS worker screening clearance, COVID and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
