Water Treatment Service Engineer (Brighton)

Job Title: Water Treatment Service Engineer Location: Brighton, East Sussex. Salary / Benefits £22k – £38k + Training + Perks Dynamic Water Treatment company who delivers everything from Pre-commission cleans through to legionella management services, are looking to recruit a Water Treatment Service Engineer to join their South East team. The company is ideally looking for a ‘well rounded’ engineer who is able to demonstrate experience carrying out a range of water treatment / hygiene, remedial and flushing tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to join an independent company at an exciting point in their growth. The role would suit an experienced engineer, who is looking to cut down on travel into London, as work will be scheduled across the Sussex region. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hove, Chichester, Petworth, Haslemere, Horsham, Uckfield, Lewes, Worthing, Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings, Worthing, Fareham, Eastleigh, Winchester, Alton, Guildford, Reigate, Woking. Experience & Qualifications
- Varied experience working within a Water Treatment / Hygiene Company.
- Ideally hold the City and Guilds / NVQ Plumbing qualification and experience in undertaking remedial works.
- Ideally experience in dynamic flushing – desirable not essential.
- Up to date knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines. The Role
- Cleaning and disinfecting of CWSTs and cooling towers.
- Sampling and analysing LTHW and CHW.
- Disinfecting of mains pipework.
- Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
- Chemical dosing and dynamic flushing of closed systems.
- Deadleg removals.
- Servicing and installing of TMVs.
- Removing, installing, and rerouting of PVC / Copper pipework.
- Ensuring work is being carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
- Using PDA to gather information from site to produce detailed reports.
