Guest Service Agent (Brighton)

Quest Brighton is a 4 star, 65 Apartment property located in the Brighton beach and opened in 2010 and has recently completed an exciting Hotel Refurbishment.

Quest Brighton is now seeking Guest Services Assistant to join its enthusiastic and successful team with a Casual Position available, 15-30 hours per week on a weekly rotating roster. Must be available on Weekday afternoons and Weekends.

The position involves all aspects of front office reception, including providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to accommodation and conference enquiries, promoting the business to achieve accommodation and conference sales, processing reservations, assisting corporate and leisure guests, and ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk, and assisting other departments including maintenance and housekeeping.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for customer service, strong skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, highly developed administration skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, experience with front office booking systems, strong attention to detail, and a high standard of personal presentation.

Previous front office/reception experience is essential, ideally in a hospitality/travel/tourism environment. Experience with sales and industry qualifications will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be available to work Monday
- Friday, Saturday
- Sunday and Public Holidays. Operation hour is 8AM
- 10PM. Mostly afternoon shifts needed.

The wage/salary for this position is under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (HIGA).
